The Opportunity:
The Assistant Commercial Manager, reporting to the Commercial Manager will play an important role in management of commercial matters relating to market development.
The Job Scope:
l Managing of Key Customers / Markets’ commercial activities, ensuring that their requirements are fulfilled
l Report submission / Presentation (in both English and Chinese) to both customers and China based suppliers
l Coordinate the communication of suppliers and customers.
l Setup and Managing various commercial projects
l Responsible for achieving both sales and marketing targets
l Responsible for launching New products and Developing New Customers / Markets
l Manage and co-ordinate Brand Development activities with suppliers of multiple product categories
The Right Candidate:
l Undergraduate education in Marketing, Business or other related field of study
l Great team player with relationship building and collaboration skills
l Excellent English language skills to communicate with international customers
l Excellent Chinese languages skills (especially in the area of report writing) to manage China-based suppliers.
l Knowledge of other South-East Asia languages would be advantageous.
l Strong written and verbal communications skills:
l Ability to travel frequently within South East Asia and to further locations when required.
l The ability to work well with diverse cultures and in different environments.
l A positive and flexible “can-do” attitude, with problem-solving capabilities to get things done
l An entrepreneurial flair; ready to “think of out the box”
The position is a Singapore based full time position with the probationary period of 3 months.
Compensation will be competitive and can be discussed at interview stage.
