Education: MS/BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
Experience:
• Solid experience with C++ and object oriented design and development
• Strong experience with a POSIX operating system, such as Linux or BSD
• Experience with Visual C++ or java programming on Windows
• Knowledge of multithreading programming required
• Experience a relational database, such as MySQL
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts and programming with sockets is required
• Experience with Perl or Shell scripts
• Experience of Linux embedded system is a bonus
• Experience with a web programming framework is a bonus
• Knowledge of Satellite communication concepts is a bonus
• Experience with auto test programming is a bonus
Job Description:
• Design, develop, test and integrate iDirect NMS software.
• Participate in code reviews and improve software quality
• Support customers as needed
