The successful candidate will have an amazing opportunity to utilize their excellent programming skills to help build the systems and strategies at a growing hedge fund.
You will work as part of a small team that will help you to develop your industry specific knowledge.
Ideal candidates will have the following skill sets:
- PhD / MS from top tier university with a focus on Computer Science / Machine Learning & AI / Engineering / Statistics.
- A skilled programmer with strong hands on OOP skills and an understanding of common data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with Python and/or C++ is a plus.
- Financial software experience is a strong plus (but not a must).
- Experience with large, multi-developer code-bases (i.e. open source projects / internships) is a plus.
- Experience in Linux scripting.
- Ability to clearly communicate, think independently and be an excellent problem solver. The position is well suited for an entrepreneurial spirit.
