A well known leading foreign commercial bank has a solid regional and global footprint. It is also the largest bank in the world in terms of market capitalization, and is a stock-listed company. The Singapore branch provides corporate banking products and services to its clients and has been expanding since last year. It is seeking settlement and remittance officers.
Responsibilities:
To process inward and outward remittances ensuring all commission and charges are properly accounted for
Handle all remittance investigations to ensure they are timely handled and resolved
Process local and foreign cheque clearing
Check all dealing confirmations for correctness against details on dealing tickets
Handle and support treasury settlements
Follow up on any trade discrepancies
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma holder with at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in bank
Proficient in MS Excel & Word
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to start at short notice
Location: Raffles Place, Permanent role
Salary: Depending on experience + annual bonus and variable bonus + allowance
