Job Description
You will be involved in research and development of innovative solid state storage technologies. You will address the critical importance of next generation non-volatile memory (such as Flash, PCRAM or STT-MRAM) to the storage system, especially for performance, scalability and energy efficiency. Research topics include but are not limited to file system design, memory management algorithm design, performance modeling, system simulation and research prototyping.
Requirements
PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Experience and detailed understanding of storage system, operating system, file system and memory management.
In-depth understanding or experience of Linux kernel internals and programming.
Experience and good understanding of non-volatile memory technologies (including Flash memory) is preferred.
Demonstrated skills in C/C++/script programming under Linux.
Highly self-motivated and willing to learn new technology.
Ability to communicate in good spoken and written English.
Local or oversea fresh graduate students are welcomed to apply.
