A professor in ECE department of NUS need people from electrical/mechanical/computer science background to join a team currently consisting of at least 6 or more RF/RS.
i) hands-on experiences on C / C++, programming, prefered in linux environment.
ii) some experience on trouble shooting (robot) hardware related problems.
iii) able to write quality research papers.
Involved projects will include TechX robot competition and other robotics projects. One immediate job is to write mapping/motion planning modules (if you wish, you may utilize open-source codes, or the codes (partially) written by me). One RE/RS position is to assist the work of a very experienced RF on mechatronics/mechanical design.
He asks for two research fellows (applicant should ideally have doctor’s degree), two research engineers (phd students to be graduated, or those with or without master degree), research scholar (funded by his projects rather than NUS; can pursue master/phd). He also welcomes those with industry experiences to join the team.
The contract term for RF/RE is flexible and could be as long as 2yrs+ or as short as 6 months, or other.
