Freelance editors wanted for the above titles
Thomson Learning, a multinational publishing corporation, is recruiting freelance editors for the above book projects. The books are originally written in Chinese and published by one of the top technological universities in China. They have been or are being translated into English. We need bilingual (Chinese & English) postgraduate students (preferably PhD candidates) specializing in or knowing well these areas to edit the manuscripts.
Specifically, he/she is expected to:
1) Be familiar with the subjects, and have a good grasp of the knowledge and terms;
2) Be competent in both Chinese and English (written), and know how to write good academic English;
4) Know the basics of editing;
5) Be meticulous and good at time management.
