1) do not know the answer. it varies from time to time.
you can check with the travel agents. There are only a few options: nepal, thai, malaysia and SIA. I would not be surprised that you find some thing in the range of s$600-700.
Try not to take Nepal air, though it may be the cheapest, as they are known to have the habbit of forgetting about their skedue.
2) it is possible to visit both Chitwan and Pokara. the time it takes to travel between any two of Chitwan, Pokara and Katamadu is about half a day. However, travel in such a hurry may not
be a good idea in a slow pace coutry like Nepal. there are so many to see and enjoy every where.
3) i went there a few years ago. The price is known to have been rising ( not that fast but steadily). It is possible, even in late octobor ( noy really high season, but definitely out of low seaon), to find somthing around S$10 a day in a guest house-not somthing with the luxaries such as AC--but really good, with hot water shower and people from all over the world to share the information with.a typical meal in a good restrant may cost you s$5. do not ask for beef. The public trasportation is almost free but with in several days may be too short for you to figure it out. Taxi is cheap, pay a few dollars you can go to even patan ( a city close to KMD).
they charge you a lot (s$10-20) on the entrance fee to every where.
There are loop holes but it depends on your luck (and look!)
4) a package to Chitwan (two nights two days, something like that) costs you about s$100. It covers every thing. Unfortunately, you can not save on this.
