People use sites like Facebook to enter their personal profile, add friends, and to notify those friends about themselves. In addition, users can join networks organized by location, city, workplace, and school.
While this sounds exciting, many privacy issues have surfaced.
If you chose to use these forms of media, here are some guidelines to follow:-
-Although there are privacy options, hackers know how to penetrate the barriers.
-Parents should review and approve any information children have placed on these sites.
-When adding friends, make certain you have accurate information concerning them.
-Review and update your profile as often as possible.
-Assume that everything written about you or by you will become publicly available.
-Never arrange to personally meet someone who contacts you through a social media site without a trusted friend present.
