Subject: Proposal for Negotiations with China on Visa Exemption or Five-Year Long-Term Visa
Dear Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
I write on behalf of myself and many compatriots, with a hope that the Singapore government would consider initiating negotiations with the Chinese government on visa exemption or the implementation of a five-year long-term visa.
In recent years, the economic and cultural exchanges between Singapore and China have been continuously strengthened. Many Chinese and Singaporean citizens are hopeful for more convenient travel between our two countries. I believe that if a visa exemption or five-year long-term visa could be implemented, it would greatly facilitate visits between citizens of both countries and further enhance our friendly relations.
I understand that this is a subject requiring in-depth research, but I am confident that the Singapore government has the wisdom and determination to address this issue in a manner that benefits the people of both countries.
