“Went to the China Visa Application Service Center (CVASC) yesterday with Minister Counsellor Yang Gang to see how the staff and applicants were doing. It has not been easy on both sides. The Chinese side has proposed to the Singaporean side discussions on measures to facilitate people-to-people exchanges such as mutual visa exemption arrangement. Hope that the competent authorities of the two sides can achieve positive results as soon as possible.
