you cannot divide Guo Moruo into: 1)a scholar, and 2)a human being so that you could 唾弃他"一个方面" (as a human being i think, or as a husband). once you 唾弃他, you 唾弃 a whole Guo Moruo, it's not fair to him as a scholar.
therefore, no need to 唾弃 or un唾弃, let him be there, you enjoy your life.
